As I always say with these type of questions on ibuprofen, "it wouldn't kill you instantly." Most likely one can die due to the complications especially if the patient wasn't aware of an underlying medical condition. Most patients who OD with ibuprofen end up living but of course, their health aren't in its prime anymore. Liver disease is the most common problem with ibuprofen abuse and OD. Kidney damage ranks next.
