every side effect ever experienced has to by law be put on as a possible side effect ,both me and my partner have taken this and it was ok .i think it helps with inflammation,i have crohns disease.I have actually taken medications where one side effect listed was death, and i am not joking this really alarmed me and i contacted a pharmacist who advised me that the person taking this [morphine] would have been pretty ill in the first place to be taking it,I have suffered terrible reactions to drugs given to me after my bowel ruptured i was given intravenous pethidine for days, then stopped I had a worse withdrawal than a heroin user and nearly died , i try not to take anything new now but some things do give you a quality of life ,i take a slow release dose of morphine ,without this the pain would make life unbearable, so i do think you have to have the right balance, you could find out how long the drug would stay in your body and then decide if you want to give it a go,but i would remember even obscure effects have to be put down on the directions you also can speak to pharmacists about worries i have found these more helpful than doctors, there are also drug free things that could help your knee ,you can buy tens machines that block pain signals to the brain and my favourite is the hot water bottle,
