Does anyone have any good comments about lyrica pregabalin medication. I have neuropathic toe pain from surgey
Ive had 12 operations for ingrowing nails and ive had my nail beds removed and had stitches. My skin is very soft now though where the nail was and socks and shoes cause friction and this takes the skin off like a cheese grater. I have been told i now have nerve ending/ neuropathic pain and have been put on lyrica pregabalin hard capsules, but i don't like what im reading about the side effects and any weight gain increases pressure on my toes. Ive asked the surgeon to remove half the big toe as the previous operations haven't worked and have caused the nerve pain, which is numbness, burning and sharp stabbing pain floowed by constant toothache type pain. Im worried that my toes will become infected. I can hardly walk for more than 20 mins or stand and this has been going on for 9years. Wearing shoes is like putting my feet in glass. Ive got the medication but im scared to take it as i also have a baby at home with me!!!!
