Metformin helps by regulating the hormones in your blood that is preventing ovulation from happening. If what you mean by bleeding is that you get your regular monthly menses, then you are actually ovulating regularly too. Its just a matter of timing during your most fertile days that will help you conceive.

I don't know about change in positions or areas but if you want, you can monitor your ovulation through home ovulation kits. then, just get the timing right.
