Hello, Maybe.. someone can help me out with a question about "metformin" the pills I'm on. My Gynecologist has me on 500mg of Metformin and it's causing problems for me. I don't get my monthly period every month or hardly ever at all. Because of my problem the gyno has put me on these pills & I've been having problems taking them. I often have stomach pains & diarrhea from them, it's one of the many side effects caused by these pills. These pills induce my period & work great! but it's leading to problems with my life. I'm running to the bathroom 24/7 & the pain is unbearable. I can't be running constantly to the bathroom at work, it's getting me in trouble. I can't continue these pills & have an appointment with my gyno to discuss my situation. My question is basically dose anybody know any other medications to treat PCOS and I'm trying to concieve so no forms of birth control please..
