I take the same pill for type 2 diabetes they help the natural insulin in my body to work. If my blood sugar gets too low because of the meds I get diarrhea, as for the stomach pain that is also a sign of low blood sugar as well. You might need to check your blood glucose level to make sure that is not happening to you. And tell your Dr what is going on as well.
