I've been using metformin for about 6 months now, have had no side effects. I also have PCOs also but I'm not trying to conceive. Just trying to get regular cycles. Yes, metformin will make you very fertile if you take it exactly how it is prescribed. You will lose weight on the metformin. Something you must know is that metformin is for the treatment of diabetes. Don't worry it will wont affect you in any way. Unless you are allergic to it. Make sure you drink plenty of water on the medication.
