I haven't read anything abour autoimmune hepatitis making the patient susceptible to another autoimmune disease. However, it may lead to cirrhosis. As for the ear infection, it may be related to the prednisolone---not with the autoimmune disease.

A corticosteroid, prednisolone dampens the immune response thus, patients will be more susceptible to infection. Azathioprine has a similar effect, thus you're likely to catch infections.
