First thing, always ask your physician before taking a drug in combination with another. As for taking adderall and an anti-hypertensive, it is said that Amphetamines may antagonize the hypotensive effects of antihypertensives. So if you have very high blood pressure, the antihypertensive drug won't be as potent as it should be. Usually, you may be asked by your doctor to try one type of medication first and keep you monitored. However, there is nothing as of now that would contraindicated taking the said drugs at the same time.
