Microgynon 30 AND mefenamic acid.... still unpredictable periods!! :(

im 16 and have been on microgynon 30 for 6 months. For the last two months i have been prescribed mefenamic acid tablets for pain (which i never had before i even went on the pill) and heavy bleeding. it took me 2 months to have a 'normal' period, after that normal period i still find them unpredictable :|
one time ill have one that i wont even notice... other times they're how they use to be before i started the pill. After my first 3 months i went back to the doctor and asked to change the pill but she said have another 3 months so i did.. and im getting pretty fed up. i have to go back next week... surely whats happening to me isn't what should be expected? I don't want to stop the pill because of how heavy they we're before.

ahhhh help! I have exams next month and just need to forget about it

I've just been given Mefenamic Acid by the doctor to help with my period pains! I'm on Microgynon also but the doctor didn't make it clear wether i could take both at the same time? Do you know if i can??
