A limp dick. Be careful with your dosing this stuff is powerful and can make you stop breathing if you take too much.

it depends on how your takign them. if your grinding them up and using them as an illegal drug, then the side effects might be tiredness, you could crash, which would put you in a horrible mood. if your using them as prescribed, then drowziness should be the only major one.

Symptoms include: Blurred vision, constipation, itching, drowziness, and long term abuse = loss of teeth, family, home, car, job, respect, freedom, sanity, self worth...acne, no more blurred vision, dizziness, nausea or fun stuff. Be careful

You know, I honestly do not understand people. Really. Maybe my internal system is wired differently but since I have been using the stuff to counteract pain for quite some time, I of course, have also tried to chew them up once or twice and yes, I got high.
That is to say: I felt like shit. Numb. Down. Flat. How is that feeling good? Just get some good weed, much healthier (although also illegal in the US as I understand) and you get the same downer in my experience. Of course, its different, but unless you've got a VERY good reason to risk feeling even shittier for a couple of moments or numbness AND have the risk of an addiction on top of it, why the hell would you want to be risking it?
I'd try to figure out how to feel more energetic without the hassle and hangover of coke and speed etc.... maybe serotonine or dopamine uppers... You're depressed? Thats what those are for. They work. You've got pain? Use opiates. That's what they are for. They work. The high is just a side-effect really, and one with bad consequences potentially.

Side effects may be serious as well, especially with high dosage. Among the serious effects may be respiratory depression, apnea, respiratory arrest, and (to an even lesser degree) circulatory depression, hypotension, or shock.

In my experience ( I'm high on them right now) I get a crazy energy rush and really happy and silly then after a few hours I feel like I'm floating on jellor really trippy. On the down side they can give me bad mood swings really itchy and trouble sleeping. You might consider having someone else around in case things go bad. Have fun

side effects of oxycontin
short-term effects-:
The most serious risk associated with opioids, including OxyContin, is respiratory depression. Common opioid side effects are constipation, nausea, sedation, dizziness, vomiting, headache, dry mouth, sweating, and weakness. Taking a large single dose of an opioid could cause severe respiratory depression that can lead to death.
long-term effects-:
Chronic use of opioids can result in tolerance for the drugs, which means that users must take higher doses to achieve the same initial effects. Long-term use also can lead to physical dependence and addiction -- the body adapts to the presence of the drug, and withdrawal symptoms occur if use is reduced or stopped.Properly managed medical use of pain relievers is safe and rarely causes clinical addiction, defined as compulsive, often uncontrollable use of drugs. Taken exactly as prescribed, opioids can be used to manage pain effectively.
