Oxycodone is percocet, a narcotic pain killer. If you are just achy, take an over the counter pain reliever. Oxy is for major pain.

Well Oxycodone is a strong pain medication. Xanax is normally taken for stress...like a mood stabalizer.

Are those youre only 2 options? If so, I'd take a very small amount of oxy, like 5mg. Xanax is a benzo and has no pain killing attributes. The only benzo that has muscle relaxing properties is Valium.

You do not need these for the mild body aches...please take lesser severe medicines.

I agree with those who say that you try mild analgesics first. Higher doses or powerful analgesics mean higher degree of side effects. Do not let your body get used to taking powerful analgesics as 1st line of defense against pain. Our body gets to develop a tolerance to medications & you'd find that these drugs would no longer be effective. The best way it to take an OTC analgesic at first, follow its recommended dose & have alternative pain management like hot compress, etc. depending on the pain felt.
