Yes. Not so much in the sense of an "upper" type high but in impaired abilities, less control, less ability to drive well or do other things requiring coordination and if an inappropriate dosage can cause problems in breathing and heart action and even death. People can also become very addicted to this med just as they can to alcohol or street drugs. It should never be used with alcohol because it and alcohol make each other's action stronger and can kill that way. It should be used with other drugs only be prescription fromm a dr who really understands the way meda interact. It can also make a mess of your liver again like alcohol but more so.
Some ppl do use it inappropriately but there are far less dangerous ways to get high and drunk. Not at all saying you would use it that way. Just that some do.

It will get you high-if you have never taken it before-take 3 you should have a good buzz for 3-4hrs-As for what St. sinner had to say it is a schedule #3 drug,and can have up to 5 refills in a six month time-The only drugs that are schedule#2 are-Percocet,Percodan,Opana,Oxycontin,Methadone,Fentyn al, Dilaudid,Morphine,Roxicodone,(These are all the brand names-there are 20-40 Generic)You cannot get schedule #2 drugs refilled you must go to your doc to get a new Rx
