Can I give my dog aspirin or midol or tylenol etc.?
So my dog broke his nail and is trembling from the pain, can I give him any human meds? I cant go to the vet.
My dad wouldn't wait he gave him a half tablet of a 325 mg ... He wanted to give him a whole one, I talked him out of it. thanks for the advice guys.

Though some NSAIDs like aspirin are safe to be used in dogs (dosage are based on the dog's weight) it is important to know which meds can be fatal to the animal. (example, Ibuprofen cannot be tolerated by dogs so they aren't advised.) The recommended dosage for aspirin in dogs is 10mg/lb of body weight every 12 hours.
