Does Oxycontin show up as an opiate in a drug test ??

I was told by a person that worked at lab corp that it doesn't and that it has to be specifically tested for...but then I read something on a past message board that said oxycodone & oxycontin came up as the same thing and that they both came up as an opiate....which contradictes what I was told.
