Combining alcohol & acetaminophen has been known to produce serious complications and we're not talking about just alcoholic drinks, even drugs with alcohol content like cough & cold syrups too! To be safe, you need to wait 5 days after taking acetaminophen to take any alcoholic substances. Better abstain from drinking alcohol if you intend taking acetaminophen or get a different analgesic.
