how long after giving ibuprofen...?
my chils is 2 and has a high fever (105+)... how long does it take after giving the recomended dose of ibuprofen for fever to ease up?

Ibuprofen usually takes about 45 Minutes- an hour to fully rid of a fever. That is only if the ibuprofen works. Depending on your child's age, maybe you should try Tylenol for fevers.

you should go the the emergency room. A fever that high could cause brain damage.

You should take your child to the hospital as soon as possible as a fever that high could be dangerous to such a young child. Ibuprofen usually takes about an hour to relieve the fever.

a child that young with that high of a fever should be taken to the hospital.......but the minimum amount of time is about 30 minutes usually........
