Tramadol in a capsule... to go up the nose or not...?
My husband had shoulder surgery last year and still has bad pain from it. He recently got a very good, new job and does some lifting. He does not have insurance (he will have great insurance in 90 days) and we could not afford a doctor's visit so he ordered Tramadol online via my canadian pharamacy I used to order Topamax (anti seizure drug) from. Anyway, they sent him "Tramadil" from India. They are legit, he took two by mouth and he's still alive and he said they felt the same way Tramadol did.

A buddy with a herniated disc came over and went wild over these things, wanting to SNORT them as one would an Oxycontin or Percocet. Since they were in Capsule form with already crushed powder, he couldn't see why not. My hubby gave him two to take home.

We are wondering if it's alright to snort Tramadol. I personally would not.

Only SERIOUS, educated, tactful answers will be tolerated.

Thanks in advance

HELL NO! Do not do it. It is two drugs in one. If it were just the narcotic(Like a OC) fine but that crap in there that inhibits serotonin will create serious problems. Like snorting a damn Prozac. It does serious things that are all bad. BIGTIME! Like Rapid B/P change and it cannot be done. You honestly can kill yourself doing this. No lie. Opiate tolerence has nothing to do with it. If you can snort 5 80's a day, Ultram can still kill you.

Ultram is a weak opiate that randomly hits receptors, it does not no where to go to begin with, crush it and inhale it, (In your case it is already powder Don't let this encourage anyone) it will really be confused. Ultrams are not smart to begin with.

I am not gonna get into on here. Read in between the lines. And thank god you had the sense to ask. And the woman is always right, good call!

Ultrams are horrible enough of a drug.

these capsules are meant to be taken orally. if someone takes it via any other route not recommended for that drug, he/she has high chance to have or develop addiction and abuse of that drug.
