My boyfriend was taking oxycontin (perscribed for a severe injury) however he was abusing it...HELP!?

He was taking at least double the dose he was suppossed to take snorting it and everything. Now he claims he has weaned himself off, and is only taking half of what he is prescribed. I don't think he is abusing them now and I think hes trying but I'm worried he will abuse them again. Should I worry??

Tell him i have a family member that just finally got out of a six month coma from this drug. They snorted it, this caused the chemicals to almost kill him. It is a dangerous drug and addictive.

[B][COLOR=darkred]Snorting the drug gives the user a strong dose all at once. Giving them a high. Once you start, its so hard to even go back to just taking them orally.[/COLOR][/B]

[B][COLOR=darkred]Be aware of his behavior, is he moody? irritable? Look at his pupils to see if they're pinned (The center black will be very small. Pin size.) this is a good clue that he is taking more then prescribed and may still be snorting.[/COLOR][/B]
