I TRY to give my clients the benefit of the doubt.
Unless you have reason to doubt him right now. Only you know what his quirks are or know if there's something not quite right. Right?
Experience tells me that if he said that to me I would think he's trying to get me off his back.
Oxycontin is SO hard to kick. If he's snorting it, he's definitely abusing it.
Snorting the drug gives the user a strong dose all at once. Giving them a high. Once you start, its so hard to even go back to just taking them orally.
I would worry, but without more proof, you can't exactly start making accusations.
Be aware of his behavior, is he moody? irritable? Look at his pupils to see if they're pinned (The center black will be very small. Pin size.) this is a good clue that he is taking more then prescribed and may still be snorting.
Take mental notes.
Sounds like you really care about him.
When you know there's a problem again, you need to figure out how to deal with that. Please either come back to this site or e-mail me. I would be happy to help. SwayGirl2008@aol.com
