I did oxycodone for about 2 weeks. Stopped 2 days ago, and the withdrawals are here.?
I have about a weeks worth of Suboxone. Should I use it? I know from a close friend of mine that Suboxone has pretty bad withdrawals too. Any advice? I start school in 2 months and I cant have any of this interfering with my life by that time. Please help.

If you have only been on the oxy for 2 weeks you are not feeling withdrawls!!

Two weeks isn't long enough to become addicted except for in your mind.

I've been on opiates for a spine injury as well as heroin and methadone for several years

I've been through withdrawls from all of them. I assure you that 2 weeks of oxy,,no matter how much you were taking, will not cause you to have physical symptoms. But it may be playing with your head, making you think you are in withdrawls.

If you were kicking for the last 2 days you wouldn't be able to sit at the computer and type anything!! The first 72 hours you are lucky if you can make it to the bathroom.

Here is a link you may want to check out

The bottom line is stop playing around with the meds now before you ruin your life. I've seen plenty of people go down the wrong path with pain meds.

If you can't stay clean on your own, which is very common, then seek help from places like the link I gave you.

Good luck and be proud of yourself for kicking,,,kind of,, lol

And ignore the other answer. If they have seen first hand what heroin does to people they wouldn't joke about it.

If you can deal without the Suboxone, do it!
The withdrawal symptoms will subside quicker obviously if you don't try to pre long it.
2 weeks is definitely enough time to get a bit of a habit. But like I said, it will be so much easier because you were only on it for a short time.
Good luck!!

Thank you guys for your help. It's a big encouragement to get these drugs out of the system.
