Lynn C is on a distinguished road
I'm on Co codamol and diclofenac Sodium - is there anything stronger I can take
I was in a car accident over a week ago and my GP prescribed the above to help with the pain and swelling but i'm still in Agony - is there anything stronger that I could go back to my GP and request??

Theres something called gabbapentine which alters the perception of pain - my brother had it for a while. Good luck

Go back to your doctor and see if you can get him/her to prescribe you dihydrocodeine. Be aware however that if you take these in the long term then you run the risk of addiction. In short term use however they should help a lot with the pain.

i think oxycontin is some of the strongest stuff you can get but its addictive

i too would suggest tramadol but it can make some people nauseus.good luck in getting over the accident and i hope you are pain free soon.

What strength is the co-codamol?

Personally I find that the best but i guess different things work for different people so it would be worth going and asking to try something different.
