How does Indomethacin compare to Percocet? Is it as strong? Stronger

I am used to taking Percocet for my gout, and it has always worked great. After a recent trip to the ER, I was prescriped Indomethacin for some reason. Is it stronger? Or less?

50 mg of Indomethacin I believe...?

It's an NSAID, anti-inflammatory type of med. Kinda in the categoryagory as Motrin...So it isn't a narcotic pain reliever

they are two different classifications of medication entirely, comparing them would be like comparing apples and ostriches. Indocin is to treat the cause of your gout, it is not a pain medication at all. The Indocin will bring your gout under control so you don't need percocet anymore.
