Mixing NSAIDs (naproxen sodium and ibuprofen)
I was unable to find anything conclusive on this. Is it safe to mix naproxen sodium with ibuprofen?

The naproxen sodium is 220mg (8-12 hour recommended) and I took 2 for my first dosage.

The ibuprofen is 200mg advil.

As an aside, 2 x 500mg acetaminophen were also administered. I know these are safe to combine (ibuprofen/apap) or (naproxen sodium/apap), but I just want to make sure this is taken into consideration if medically necessary in this case.

These are being taken as post op/post physical therapy pain management in lieu of prescription pain killers. I have some as an option but I'm trying to avoid using them.

No. Basically like doubling either one. You can alternate between Tylenol and an NSAID, as they have different mechanisms of action. Don't exceed what is on the directions though, even though these are over the counter, they are not benign. I have had patients in the ICU because they thought 12 Tylenol at a time was OK. Well, it is ok if you don't mind hepatitis.
