can naproxen and penicillin be taken together
i have a sore throat and i have these two meds that will help me because naproxen is for the inflamation and peniccillin for the infection what do you think?????

There's no known adverse interaction between penicillin & naproxen. You can take the naproxen while on your first 3-4 days of taking penicillin since by that time, the inflammation hasn't gone down. Once the penicillin kicks in, then your throat won't be as painful anymore but you need to complete the penicillin dose which is 5-7days.
