Sock is on a distinguished road
I took 220mg of naproxen sodium (aleve) and 50mg of Diphenhydramine HCL (sleeping pill otc)Lips are swollen
Is that a normal allergic reaction?
I have taken both before and had never had any kind of allergic reaction but this is the first time i took them almost at the same time with 5-10min interval without thinking about it
my lips are swollen, they feel tight, sometimes a tingling sensation
anybody had this before?
i took this saturday night and also sunday night but in longer interval and it is now monday night (2 days) and still feel the same symptoms)
can anyone please help me?

Delayed allergic reactions to NSAIDs like Naproxen is not unusual and swollen lips is just one of the effects. Diphenhydramine is actually an anti-allergy drug so I doubt if this should be the cause.

The ideal thing to do is to have yourself tested for NSAID allergy in a lab just to make sure. While you haven't done that, it's best to avoid NSAIDs and stick to Acetaminophen or Paracetamol for a while.
