Is codeine an ingredient in Naproxen 500mg. I'm asking because my back is killing me but I'm allergic to codeine and I don't want to get sick

Naproxen does not have codeine. There are other painkillers in combination with codeine like Tylenol-Codeine or Empirin Codeine (aspirin + codeine) which you are to avoid if you're allergic to it.
