Does Naproxen cause cold sweats
My sleeping husband just kicked the sheets off onto me and I noticed they were wet. He's been sick lately so I figured he was drooling a little. When I grabbed the sheets to throw them back I noticed they were soaked! His pillow, the sheet, the fitted sheet... everything! Not only from his head, but his legs and body as well. He just started taking Naproxen yesterday for his ear infection and I'm worried he might be having an allergic reaction. Is this normal? Is it urgent enough for the ER?
Oh and he doesn't have a fever. They are just cold sweats.

Naproxen is not your problem. It is the ear infection that is causing the night sweats. Time to stop home treatment and get him to the doctor. Unless he has a temp then no don't take him to the ER take him to the doctor in the morning to get professional treatment for what is making him ill.

Actually, Naproxen may cause sweating--one of its many but uncommon dermatologic effects.

Naproxen may help if your husband experiences pain associated with the ear problem but it wouldn't do anything with the infection itself. Better see an ear doctor to check what causes the infection before it gets worse.
