Is it alright to take Naproxen...

if there might not be a inflammation in me? I was prescribed for it for my brain, for preventative purposes, cuz i get headaches everyday.

It is not recommended to take Naproxen or any nsaid for preventive purposes. Although I have heard of naproxen being prescribed for prophylaxis in cases of migraine and dysmenorrhea, its intake should be limited. Unecessary taking of nsaids would increase your risk of having gastric bleeding and other problems.
