Is naproxen a blood thinner
I just had an appendectomy (had my appendix removed) and I can't takeany pain pills with blood thinners. Is naproxin a blood thinner?

Yes, Naproxen, like other NSAIDS, thins the blood stream.

Yes, Naproxen thins the blood. Many of the other over the counter pain medications are NSAIDs much like Naproxen and has a similar blood thinning effect.

Naproxen interferes with platelet function, thus increases bleeding time or it increases your chances to have prolonged bleeding.
