Hi there Chelsea. Some signs of ibuprofen overdose include stomach pain, nausea & vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, headache and tinnitus (ringing in the ears). Ibuprofen, being an NSAID, shares the risks of the drugs under that category. It can cause ulcers & gastric bleeding over a period of time, especially with prolonged use. As to number of pills you indicated in your query, it depends on the dosage you've taken since ibuprofen are available in many dosage. Of course, the higher the mg one have taken in large number, the more chance to have an overdose.
