Aleve and Naproxen are the same thing. If you can find a way to make a comparable dose using the OTC (Aleve) that's what I would do. That's what my pharmacist told me to do when I had a prescription for the same thing--I have no insurance either. If you can't do that, I don't think it would cost a whole lot, though, because Naproxen is the generic for Naprosyn, so it should be relatively cheap. Barring that, you aren't required to get the entire prescription at once, you could fill only half of it, or just a certain number of pills to last until payday or whenever you'll have a little more money.
