Default Can you take ibuprofen and co-codamol together

I've just had a tonsillectomy 3 days ago, and am really suffering with pain, is it ok to take ibuprofen and co-codamol together but inbetween hours.

You should call the pharmacy and ask for the pharamacist.
The pharamacist can tell you whether or not, the mixture of the two medications is safe or not.

Co-codamol contains paracetamol & codeine phosphate. Both co-codamol & ibuprofen are analgesics. Did a doctor prescribe the co-codamol? If you think ibuprofen is not effective, then use the co-codamol first rather than taking both. Uneccessary taking too much analgesic at the same period may put you at risk for liver and gastric disease.
