yahooanswers is on a distinguished road
can i take two 400mg tablets of ibuprofen instead of one 800mg tablet
basically a few weeks ago my knee got messed up coz of xc and my doctor gave my motrin 800mg and told me to take one tablet twice a day and it worked GREAT!
but i've ran out since last week so i took two 500 mg tylenols before my xc meets instead and it wasn't as effective....now thats run out too i was wondering if i could take two 400mg motrin tablets, since i think u can't get more than 400mg wihtout a prescription and i need 800 mg

would it relieve the pain just as effectvively??
and is 400mg the highest you can get without a prescription?
