Those kind of drugs are very addictive. They're pain killers and prescription pills (mostly pain killers) are like completely taking our country over as far as addiction. I would not advise you to try and seek more, because every time you have to take more and more to feel the same euphoria and you will get addicted.

There's this TV show on A&E called Intervention and it focuses on like one drug addict per week and their family trying to get them help and I can't even tell you how many have been prescription pill addiction. If you don't believe me you should start watching that show, it's very sad to watch.

Valium is considered addictive. The user builds a tolerance and feels the need to increase the amount they take to achieve the same "high". Over a period of time Valium becomes physically and psychologically addictive.

Valium is indicated for the management of anxiety disorders or for the short-term relief of the symptoms of anxiety. Anxiety or tension associated with the stress of everyday life usually does not require treatment with this drug.

You get Valium prescribed for a reason.. and only from a doctor. It is for people with severe panic or severe anxiety disorders who get Valium and you felt great and had a great night.. that was why you were given it.. to be able to sleep.

If your doctor prescribed to you Valium on a regular basis .. if for example you suffered severe panic attacks or severe anxiety attacks or anxiety problems, then sooner or later... your body would get used to the drug.. and you would need more of it to get the same effect.. Valum is very strong.. You know if you never or maybe once a year drink some alcohol, then if you have one glass one day, you will feel tipsy and great... or you may go as far as drinking 2 glasses.. but if you drank 2 glasses of wine every night, after a short time that would not work anymore to give you that ''feel good'' feeling, you would need a whole bottle of wine... and then even more than that.. that's how people get addicted to alcohol.. and medication.. your body develops a tolerance to a certain amount, then even those who really need the drug, need more of it to get the same benefits out of it..

So, please don't try to start on Valium.. I don't take Valium but I am on some other anti-anxiety medication and I know that after having taken it for a lenghty time.. I no longer get the beneficial results from taking it.. meaning.. my body has a tolerance to it.. or if I wanted to get the same effect I would need to take more... Don 't start something which will end up being a viscious circle and you don't need it.. don't take dangerous meds. You were given it because you were meant to sleep well that is ok.. in certain circumstances.. but only then... same as a doctor would not perform an operation on a patient without the patient having been given an anaesthetic..It would be very addictive and you can only get it with a doctors prescription.. which you don't need! xxx

Yes it is addictive. And your hooked. people get it for, just as you said, staying relaxed during dangerous medical procedures.

i know a guy who gets them for anger problems and yes i know they make you feel good you didn't have to tell me that but doctors give them out like candy so you can either get them from the doctor or get them for somebody and if you get them from somebody don't pay more than 3 dollars a pill and yes they are addictive and if you can't get valium get some xanax they are good too but they don't make you as sleepy
