Will barbiturates show up on a mouth swab drug test if taken the day before?

My boyfriend had to take a saliza drug test for a big company and he took Xanax the day before. STUPID, I know. But I can't wait a week for the results! Please help =]

Yes, it will since it remains in the blood even after 72 hours, some even as long as 140 hours, especially if the test calls for it.
