Your doctor probably wont be able to know how much damage has been done (if any at all) till the baby is born.

But you do need to see a doctor about your depression. I feel for you because i know what its like to battle the never ending battle of depression (unless you are medicated of course)

You NEED to see a doctor and get a scan booked ASAP.

No one can tell you here whether your baby is harmed and you need to find out as soon as you can.

I agree with kc - I had prenatal depression and the doc prescribed antidepressants that have since been banned for pregnant women. Did you know that prenatal depression is just as common as postnatal? It just doesn't get anywhere near as much media coverage. Don't feel stigmatised, please stop torturing yourself as it won't be doing you or the baby any good and please tell your doctor what happened straightaway so you can get the appropriate tests done. And good luck with your baby!

The safety of zopiclone during pregnancy has not been studied and is therefore not recommended for use. It could be that your baby will be fine, but you need to tell your doctor about this so they can determine if any (and what) tests are needed. You should NEVER take any medication during pregnancy without discussing the risks vs. the benefits with your doctor. And even medications that are approved for use during pregnancy should be taken only as needed and with care and precaution.

So definitely let your doctor know about this asap. They may want to look into it further to make sure baby is okay, and they will also be able to assist you with the depression aspect of things. Taking 30 sedatives is not safe even while not pregnant and you need to get your depression addressed for the sake of yourself and your baby.
