Just wondering...what would happen if I had strep throat that was resistant to penicillin
I mean, how would that be treated?

don't get me wrong I will go to the doctor to get something other than penicillin(because it affects the baby in case some of you didn't see my other question); but I was just wondering what would happen in that case? Being resistant to penicillin doesn't mean it would be resistant to other antibiotics-- or does it?

The doctor would likely try other stronger antibiotics if penicillin doesn't work. Penicillin is not the only available treatment for strep, they have others they use, as for people like me who are allergic to penicillin. I have been given erythromycin for strep.
