Will 10 100mg pills of Zithromax cure Chlamydia

Now i know 1g of zithromax normally gets the job done in 2 pills of 500mg but i need to know would 10 pills each containing 100mg get the job done or is that too many pills to take at once or does it matter as long as you get the correct dosage which is 1g no matter how you take it?
i had this problem before and my doc gave me 2 pills 500mg each that i had to take at the same time all at once but your saying 200mg for a week?? Also why wouldn't 10 pills of 100mg all at once not work when it adds up to 1g which is the total dosage that will cure Chlamydia? I dont see the difference anyone else have a clue?

You need to take 200mg 2 times a day for one week, so your 10x100mg will not be enough.
