I have a perscription I've started taking and will be two short by the end of my 10 days- I still have some left over penicillian - would it be okay to use those 2 last pills at the end- or start them at the beginning?? Thanks for your help
don't do that. the bacteria could become stronger and will require more time to cure. Or it could get worse. If you know you are short of the pills you need, you need to go to you doctor or call the pharmacist and make s sure you were not shorted in your prescription. But don't mix what you have left with something else.
No, don't take old medicine. And if you really really want to, ask your doctor. They'll probably tell you the same thing though. Medcine does go bad after a while. (Not bad, but it doesn't work as well as when it's new.)
