Are you eating before you take it? Also, it wouldn't hurt to take an acidophilus pill with your antibiotic. Call you'r doctor, you can't just suffer through an infection. They don't go away on their own.

It's important to treat the infection but call your doctor and let him know what you r experienceing. I had an infection too during pregnancy but never had any side effects

Do you have any allergies with antibiotics that you know of? Or have you tried taking amoxicillin before and gotten the same results?

Amoxicillin is often the prescribed medication for pregnant women because of its "safety". However, because of the side effects that you are experiencing, you may want to check with your pharmacist if the pills given are really amoxicillin because they may have dispensed something else. Also, you may have a rare reaction to amoxicillin so you need your doctor to prescribe you a new antibiotic. Or, the weakness and nausea may not be related at all to the antibiotic you are taking but to the pregnancy itself.

I suggest to contact your doctor as soon as possible so as to give you an alternative to treat your sinus infection.

Hope this helps.
