Would my amoxicillin pills still "work" if I mixed it in with yogurt

I went to the doctor & got a throat swab for strep throat, and it came back positive.
I got amoxicillin pills & my doctor told me to eat yogurt twice a day.
The pills are pretty big & my throat is swollen really bad, so I can't swallow them. [ & I don't like the liquid :P ]
Would they still have the same effect if I put them in my yogurt?

To answer your Q, no - do not put the pills in the yogurt because it releases the chemicals into the food and even though you are going to consume the two anyway, it won't be as a "strong" and will weaken it's pharmaceutical abilities.

Take the pills with water. Eat the yogurt an hour before or after taking the pills. Trust me on this one.

Of course. Also, you can cut them in half and take the halves one at a time or melt chocolate and roll them in it!
