How safe is Azithromycin
The doctor said to take it...I took 4 pills in one day as directed and that is all. And now my stomach hurts, I want to throw up, I don't know if it's cuz I didn't eat anything all day and ate fast food (Dairy Queen) lol.

I'm paranoid.
Yeah I feel great now. My stomach was rumbling and it might be.....you know LMAO.

I feel so hungry right now I feel fine
Well I had a pap smear and it came back negative no problems. But I wanted to go check back again for some other issues and apparently I have a bacteria infection and she said my cervix is a lot more red...sooOo...just in case she wants me to take zithromycin

and tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia again even though I didn't have a new partner

Just a couple questions how many milligrams is it? The normal dosing for 500 mg Azithromycin is 2 pills right away and then 1 pill a day for 3 days............that sounds like you took A LOT but it depends on what its treating too?

Thirst for Knowledge is on a distinguished road
From Wiki
Most common side effects are gastrointestinal; diarrhea (5%), nausea (3%), abdominal pain (3%) and vomiting. Fewer than 1% of patients stop taking the drug due to side effects. Serious allergic reactions, nervousness, dermatologic reactions, and fatalities have been reported but are extremely rare. As with all antimicrobial agents, pseudomembranous colitis can occur during and up to several weeks after azithromycin therapy. This drug may interfere with the effectiveness of birth control pills; other forms of contraception may be required during the treatment period.

I guess it's pretty safe... don't worry. Knock those bacteria dead.

Well its an antibiotic. Gastrointestinal side effects are to be expected. Don't be surprised if you have diarrhea.

Drink fluids and take your medications as per Dr's order.
