Is it safe to get laser hair removal treatment within 11 days of taking antibiotics (Zithromax)
I'm taking Zithromax for an upper respiratory infection. My last dose will be 11 days before my laser hair removal treatment. The spa says you cannot be on antibiotics within 14 days of treatment, but maybe there is some leg room? Knowledgeable answers only, please.
It is recommended that the last dose of any
antibiotic must be a minimum of 14 days prior to a scheduled Laser Hair Removal treatment. Antibiotics are known to cause photosensitivity of the skin.
