amoxicillin questions...

i was taking it for a sinus infection, but i got hives so i stoped yesterday (i was taking it for about 10 days) but i read online that it can give u a bad taste in the mouth. is that true casue i do have a bad taste and i want to know if its from the medicine or the sinus infection. (i did have bad taste and smell before the medicine, and im not pregnant) but i just want to know when the taste will go away or what exactly it is..

Bad taste in the mouth is associated with both amoxicillin (& other antibiotics) and sinus infection. It is expected that this symptom will disappear once the infection clears up & your antibiotic therapy ends. For the meantime, make sure you scrape or brush your tongue so the condition won't get worse.
