Taking azithromycin for skin infection
I was prescribed azithromycin for an skin infection. the bottle says take 4 by mouth daily for one day. I may sound stupid, does it want me to take them all at once or spread it out throughout the day. They are 500 mg each, four of them. I just want to take them the right way. I called the doctor, but he's on vacation today.

You spread them out over the course of a day and take them with some food as antibiotics can have a nasty effect on your stomach. You should have them at breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper. Get well soon!
