Does every baby get a rash from Amoxicillin

My baby is only 6 months old and today the dr prescriped her Amoxicillin 4mls 3 times a day for 7 days.
She has never had an allergic reaction yet to a drug.
But I have heard most babies do get allergic reactions to the drug and i have seen pictures.
She just had her first does about half hour ago I am terribly nervous that she is going to get a rash or some other symptom.
How likely is it?

My son has been on amoxicillin for 8 days now for a double ear infection, and he does not have a rash. I had not heard of that before...im sure your little girl will do just fine, just keep an eye on her!

No, not every baby gets that. This indicates an allergic reaction. I have 4 children and 1 of them (along with myself) are allergic and get a red rash if taken.

Not every baby gets a rash and a rash is a sign of a allergic reaction to Penicillin.

When my daughter was 3mo, she had to be on Amoxicillin for an ear infection and on day 4, she broke out with hives all over her body and her ears and face swelled up. So we know now, she is allergic to Penicillin. Thankfully, she hasn't had to be on an antibiotic again.

It is not highly likely as Amoxicillin is one of the mildest antibiotics. But, if your daughter does happen to start a reaction, stop the medicine and call the doctor. The rash lasted about 3-4 days on my daughter after the meds were discontinued and she was fine.

No one I know has ever had a rash from Amoxicilin. It can happen, but it's not "most".

As far as I know, it's not very common. We found out that my sister is allergic to Amoxicillin after she was prescribed it and broke out in a rash. It's most likely an allergic reaction in your daughter as well.
You should give the doctor a call and let him know that she broke out with a rash after her first dose. If it is in fact an allergic reaction, he'll be able to tell you how to get rid of her rash and he'll also keep it in her file that she has an allergy.
