Erythromycin is available in 250 mg capsules.
....Erythromycin is available in 250 mg capsules. The doctor orders Erythromycin 250 mg every 4 hours x 4. How many grams of the medication should the child receive? please show your work

One dose is: 4250mg = 1000mg = 1g
That dose is repeated every 4 hours. That's 6 times per day.
So the child is to receive 6g per day.
