Ear infection healed with amoxicillin caps and drops with neomycin and...
...polymyxin b sulfates and hydrocort susp Could one specify the type of infection given what cured it? Does it narrow the set of possible causes? Best guess, what is the most likely culprit?
I am 36 and this was the first ear infection I have had since I was 6. So I was a bit worried at first. I went to the doctor after 2 days of symptoms... earache, pain in the eustachian tube area below the ear. I had used Q-tips regularly inside the ear canal with care... meaning not hitting the eardrum. Doc said to stop that which I have and will never do again.
Just curious as to what bug might do this and how to avoid it if possible.
