tetracycline initial breakout?

I was on doxycycline for about 6 months and it worked for a while then stopped. My derm. switched me to tetracycline (100mg twice a day) and i started it on August 12. I had no new pimples until about three days ago when i head the worst breakout ive ever had, even breaking out in places that I havent ever had a pimple before, like my back and forehead. Could this just be an initial breakout? Should i keep taking it?

It can be just an initial breakout. It takes a while for the antibiotics to show its maximum effect. If no improvement for a couple of weeks, please consult with your derma.
