Jodie H is on a distinguished road
I have body acne and am on erythromycin ( an antibiotic that helps get rid of acne) but I want to change.
To minomycin ( minocycline), Should I go straight onto this other acne antibiotic minocycline which ive heard is alot better and doesnt make you feel as sick or wait a little? i heard that if you wait a little your body builds up a resistance to this stuff..

How long have you been taking erythromycin? As long as you do not have an allergic reaction to any medication, are pregnant, or have any underlying condition that may react with a change in medication, then you can change to minocycline.

Waiting a little before taking another medication does not build up a resistance. Waiting a little before taking a new medication can help by removing your body of the previous antibiotic before you start a new one. The only time you build resistance to a medication is when you have been taking the same medication for a long period of time, at erratic schedules, with no visible and positive result.

Hope this helps!
